CHEATSHEET

Terms Of Service

Effective Date: 06/09/2026

Introduction

Welcome to Cheatsheet (the "Service"). These terms of service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service provided by Cheatsheet ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service is operated by Aaron Trotter in Poland (Polish NIP PL5272928902), who you can reach at .

You can browse a limited version of the Service without an account. By accessing or using the Service, with or without an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. It is an information notice rather than part of this contract, so there is nothing in it for you to agree to, but we encourage you to read it.

Use of the Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. When registering for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You also agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.

User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you create, upload, or transmit through the Service, including code snippets and any other materials ("User Content"). By posting User Content on or through the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, perpetual, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, and display such User Content.

Prohibited Conduct

In using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
  • Use the Service to transmit any unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service using automated means (bots, scripts, or similar technology) without our prior written consent.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any rate limit, access control, or other security-related feature of the Service, including by creating multiple accounts to work around a limit placed on a single account.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cheatsheet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

The Vault

The Vault is an optional feature for storing private notes that are encrypted on your device before they are sent to us, using a passphrase you choose. We never receive your passphrase and cannot decrypt or recover your Vault contents. If you forget your passphrase, your Vault notes are permanently unreadable, including by us.

Tasks

Tasks is an optional feature for storing private, unencrypted to-do lists and similar notes. Tasks are kept out of cheat search and do not have visible revision history.

Brain

Brain is an optional feature for storing private, unencrypted guidance for AI assistants you connect to your account, along with notes those assistants record for themselves. Brain entries are stored the same way as Tasks: private, unencrypted, kept out of cheat search, and without visible revision history.

Entries you mark as a brief or a rule are sent automatically to any AI client you connect through the API or an MCP connection, so that it can follow your guidance. Only you decide what goes in there, and you can edit or delete any entry at any time. We do not use the contents of your Brain to train any model.

Pennies

Pennies is an optional feature for logging your own crypto and stock buy/sell orders and viewing a portfolio summary and profit estimator based on them. Pennies data is private, unencrypted, kept out of cheat search, and does not have visible revision history.

Projects

Projects is an optional feature for organising work on a Kanban board, as cards grouped by project and arranged in Open, In Progress, and In Review columns. Projects data is unencrypted, kept out of cheat search, and does not have visible revision history.

A project is private to you until you choose to share it. With a Pro plan you can invite other people to a project by email, giving each of them either view-only or full editing access. Inviting someone sends them an email containing the project name, your name or email address, and a link to accept, and nothing is shared until they accept it. You are responsible for who you invite and for what you put on a board you have shared. Anyone with editing access can add, change, and delete cards on that board, including cards you added. You can change someone's access level, remove them, or cancel a pending invite at any time, and anyone you invited can leave a project at any time. Deleting a project deletes it for everyone on it. Cards you add to someone else's project stay on their board if you later leave the project or delete your account.

Pro Plan and Billing

Free accounts can use the Vault, Tasks, Brain and Pennies features up to a limit of 5 items each, and the Projects feature with one project of their own, holding up to 5 cards. Free accounts also get read-only API access. Cheatsheet offers a paid "Pro" plan that removes those limits, adds full read and write API access, and allows inviting other people to your projects. Accepting an invite to someone else's project never requires a Pro plan, a project shared with you does not count towards your own project limit, and cards you add to it count towards your own card limit rather than the owner's.

Pro costs €2 per month or €20 per year. Prices include VAT where applicable, and the price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and we never receive or store your card details. A Pro plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price then in effect, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, and your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We may also activate Pro on an account using a one-time code we issue to you.

Pro is digital content that we begin supplying as soon as your payment succeeds. By subscribing you ask us to start immediately and accept that, once we have, you lose the 14 day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to a contract concluded at a distance. If you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days without having used any Pro feature, contact us and we will refund you.

Deleting your account cancels your Pro plan immediately, and we do not refund the remainder of a period you have already paid for, which does not affect your statutory rights. If you create a new account afterward, contact us for a new upgrade code.

Merging your account into another account permanently closes this account, moving its content, including its Vault, Tasks, Brain, Pennies, and Projects, to the surviving account, and deleting its API keys, trusted devices, and account links rather than transferring them. Your Pro plan does not automatically transfer to the surviving account. Contact us after merging and we will apply Pro to the surviving account at no charge.

API Access and MCP

Any account may generate API keys that grant programmatic access to their cheats and tasks for use by external tools, including via our hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, which lets compatible AI assistants and other MCP clients connect to your account using an API key (or a sign-in and consent flow that mints one automatically) and call the same tools available through the API. Free accounts get read-only keys; Pro accounts can also generate read + write keys. Keys are shown to you only once at creation and can be revoked at any time. API and MCP usage are subject to a daily request limit, which we may change. Any action taken through the API or an MCP client using your key, whether initiated by you, by a tool you configured, or by an AI assistant acting on your behalf, is treated as your own action. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential, for reviewing what any AI assistant or tool you connect is authorized to do, and for all activity performed using your keys.

Termination and Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, and to delete your account and associated content, at any time, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion, including without limitation if you breach these Terms, if we discontinue the Service, or if your account is inactive for an extended period. We do not currently exercise this right to delete accounts except where legally required or necessary to protect the Service or other users, but we reserve it. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If we terminate or suspend your account for a reason other than your breach of these Terms, for example because we discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice where practicable and refund the unused portion of any Pro plan you have paid for.

You may also delete your own account at any time through the Service. Deleting an account removes its private cheats and everything held in its Vault, Tasks, Brain, Pennies, and Projects, and revokes its API keys, trusted devices, and account links. Publicly published cheats remain on the Service, as described above. Account deletion, whether initiated by you or by us, is permanent and cannot be undone.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Cheatsheet, its directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or these Terms, whether the damages are foreseeable and whether or not Cheatsheet has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that includes your rights in relation to faulty digital content, unfair contract terms, and the information you must be given before you buy. Where any term of these Terms conflicts with such a right, that right applies.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify or replace these Terms from time to time. Minor changes, such as corrections and clarifications, take effect when we post the updated Terms on the Service and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations and you have an account, we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the Service and, if you are on the Pro plan, cancel it.
